Celebrate Independence Day at Columbia’s 59th annual 4th of July celebration! Memorial Stadium will be the location for music, fun and fireworks on July 4 with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment will begin at 7 p.m., featuring a performance by the Record Collector band. Many fun activities are planned for kids from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the concourse including inflatables, face painting, balloon art and 4th of July crafts. Fireworks will begin after 9 p.m.
Fire in the Sky is coordinated by Parks and Recreation with presenting sponsors Columbia Insurance Group and KOMU 8. Major sponsors of the event are Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club, KBXR 102.3, KFRU 1400 & V.A. Mortgage.
