SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION REFERRED TO COLUMBIA POLICE BY THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI POLICE DEPARTMENT
On 01-25-14 the Columbia Police Department received information from
the University of Missouri Police Department regarding the possible rape
of Sasha Menu Courey in February 2010. The incident possibly occurred
in the 600 block of Huntridge Drive. This crime had not previously been
reported to the Columbia Police Department.
The Criminal Investigation Division will review the information available
about the case. Detectives will follow up on the leads the information
contains and decide what course of action is best. The Department will
not make any further comment on the details of the investigation as it is an
ongoing sexual assault case.
