Columbia Transit buses are running on normal schedules Tuesday, January 7th after extreme winter weather and road conditions slowed service on Monday. As roads are still dangerous in some areas, delays are still possible, but staff is optimistic that service will nearly return to normal for Tuesday morning service.
Road conditions in the Indian Hills area are preventing buses on the 102 East route from safely reaching normal bus stops in that neighborhood, so customers can catch the bus at Ballenger Lane and Aztec Blvd on Tuesday where buses are making pick ups.
All other detours have been lifted for Tuesday January 7th at this time.
Staff is constantly monitoring road conditions and weather for necessary updates.
Customers can get up to date information and rider alerts on the city website www.gocolumbiamo.com/PublicWorks/Transportation/ , on the free real-time bus tracker DoubleMap app, or on Columbia Transit's Facebook or Twitter pages.
