All Columbia Transit city bus routes will be returning to their normal schedules today at 10:00am.
In order to maintain safe service for customers, the city was forced to implement their Emergency Weather Schedule for buses this morning due to winter weather road conditions that slows bus service slightly.
Until further notice, buses will continue to detour Indian Hills on the Blue 102 East Route, and Leslie Ave on the Blue 102 North Route due to unsafe road conditions in those areas. Customers in the Indian Hills area can catch the bus at the nearby Ballenger Lane and Aztec Blvd intersection where buses will be picking up, and customers on Leslie Ave can catch the detoured route on Texas Ave to the south.
Staff will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions in order to provide the best service to customers.
Customers can get up to date information and rider alerts on the city website www.gocolumbiamo.com/PublicWorks/Transportation/ , on the real-time bus tracker DoubleMap app, or on Columbia Transit's Facebook or Twitter pages.
