Columbia Transit's downtown FastCAT route will be cutting back its service to its usual Academic Break schedule while students are away on winter break. The bus will still run its normal route through the district, MU and Stephens College campus, and by Boone and University Hospitals, but with adjusted frequency to accommodate the usual decrease in student ridership. The Academic Break Schedule will begin Friday December 13th, and continue through Monday January 20th, with normal service resuming Tuesday January 21st.
Other student-centric routes such as the TigerLine and Black and Gold Routes will operate until 5:40pm Friday December 13th, and not operate at all during winter break. TigerLine will begin limited service Wednesday January 15- Friday 17th, and resume regular service on Tuesday January 21st along with the Black and Gold Routes and FastCAT.
Customers have been notified on Columbia Transit's website, twitter and facebook pages, DoubleMap app rider alerts, and schedules are posted on all buses.
