MEDIA RELEASE - 11-25-13

COLUMBIA POLICE INVESTIGATE STRONG ARM ROBBERY

On 11-24-13, at 9:45 P.M., officers were dispatched to 21 Broadway Village, Broadway Village Apartments, to contact a 23 year old male who had been the victim of a strong arm robbery.  The victim, who is from Jefferson City, advised he had made arrangements through Craigslist to meet at the location to buy a cell phone.

The victim sustained minor injuries but did not seek medical attention at the scene.
