Para-Transit Service to run till 8:00 PM for Clark Lane Non-Motorized Improvement Project - Interested Parties Meeting on November 6

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Transit will extend the operational hours of Para-Transit services until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6 to assist with accommodating para-transit eligible citizens who wish to attend the Interested Parties meeting. Eligible para-transit riders may call (573) 874-7290 to schedule. 

 

The City of Columbia Public Works Department will host an Interested Parties meeting concerning the Clark Lane Non-Motorized Improvements from Woodland Springs Ct to McKee Street on Wednesday, November 6 at Blueridge Elementary School, 3700 Woodland Drive, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

City staff will present design concepts for the project which include widening Clark Lane five feet on each side, restriping Clark Lane with 11 foot driving lanes and 6 foot wide shoulders. A public comment form will be available and input will be used as the design is developed.

Construction on this project is scheduled for 2014.
