Armed Robbery Kaldi's Coffeehouse

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

ARMED ROBBERY KALDI'S COFFEEHOUSE

On 10/4/13 at 5:35 A.M., Officers were dispatched to 29 S. Ninth Street, Kaldi's Coffeehouse, in reference to an armed robbery.

The investigation revealed a black male entered the store through the back door after an employee had opened the door for another employee. The black male suspect pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on foot towards the Cherry & 8th Street garage with an undisclosed amount of money.  No one was injured during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

Black male, approximately 30 years old, 6'1", stocky build, bald with glasses, last seen wearing a tank top and shorts.
