Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the annual Halloween event for kids-this year, with a new name and new location!
The SPOOKtacular (formerly known as Tiger Night of Fun) will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on October 31 at the Central Missouri Events Center (5212 Oakland Gravel Road). SPOOKtacular will provide families a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, with all sorts of ghostly activities, including games and candy for kids ages 12 and under.
Parks and Recreation staff is seeking groups and organizations interested in providing a game or activity at the event. Those interested can log onto www.GoColumbiaMo.com/ParksandRec for a registration form or call 874-7460.
SPOOKtacular is presented by Columbia Parks and Recreation, the ARC, Central Missouri Events Center and KPLA 101.5.
For more information, please call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460.
