The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Wednesday, August 14, at 7:00 a.m. Seth Paul Excavating, contractor for City of Columbia Storm Water Utility will begin work on an urgent replacement of a failing storm water pipe under Middlebush Drive. This work will result in a road closure on Middlebush Drive between Jake Lane and Bradshaw Avenue. The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, August 23, by 7:00 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
