Columbia Parks and Recreation's C.A.R.E. summer program wraps up today. Participants will be honored at a reception this evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the ARC (1701 W. Ash). An awards presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m.
C.A.R.E. (Career Awareness Related Experience), which began in 1982, is a comprehensive program that includes work-based hands-on experience, mentoring, and life skills training for Columbia's at-risk youth.
