Work will result in closure of Orr St. between East Walnut and East Ash the week of July 15

The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, July 15, at 7:00 a.m., Trittenbach Construction will begin work to cap an existing sanitary sewer service, install new sanitary sewer service, and install a new storm sewer system for a proposed apartment project located at 1101 E. Walnut St.  This work will result in a road closure on Orr Street between E. Walnut St. and E. Ash St.  The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, July 19, 2013, by 5:00p.m. 

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
