UPDATE ON SHOOTING, CASE 2013-006567
The person who filmed the video which captured the shooting has been interviewed by the Criminal Investigations Division. The person was not involved in the incident and had no knowledge beforehand there would be a shooting and. The person was filming the large group of people crossing the road and believed a fight might occur.
There is no suspect information to release at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
Investigators have determined the assault which occurred in front of 120 S Ninth Street, case number 2013-006569 was not related to the shooting in anyway.
