Officers Respond To Reports Of Shots Fired

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Today, 06-21-13, at 5:10 P.M., officers responded to 206 Old Highway 63 N., Lakewood Apartments, in reference to a shots fired call.  The caller reported 3 to 4 shots were fired and a subject was possibly shot in the leg.  The caller also reported the subjects involved were leaving in cars.  Upon arrival officers did not find anyone involved in the shooting or any victim.  Evidence of a disturbance was found. Officers are still investigating.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Columbia Police Department, 573-442-6131, or Crime Stoppers, 573-875-TIPS, to remain anonymous.
