Two Shots Fired Incidents Overnight

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

                                  TWO SHOTS FIRED INCIDENTS OVERNIGHT

On 5/12/13 at 7:57 P.M., officers were dispatched to a shots fired in the 400 block of Oak Street. During the investigation, officers located four shell casings in the area and information that two vehicles were involved in gunfire.  The only vehicle description is a silver car and a white mini van. There were no injuries or property damaged.

On 5/12/13 at 9:11 P.M., officers were dispatched to a large disturbance with a possible shots fired in the area of 5103 Clark Lane.  The investigation revealed 8 to 15 mexican and black males were involved in a disturbance. The disturbance and all involved were gone when officers arrived on the scene.  There were no injuries or property damaged.  Officers did not locate any evidence of a shots fired.

There is no information that suggests that these two incidents are related at this point. The investigation is ongoing.
