ARMED ROBBERY 3402 I-70 DRIVE SOUTHEAST, MOTEL 6
On Monday, 05-13-13, at 4:35 A.M., officers were dispatched to 3402 I-70 Drive Southeast, Motel 6, in reference an armed robbery which just occurred. Investigation revealed that an unknown race male ran into the motel lobby holding a handgun. The suspect demanded money from the clerk. When the clerk told the suspect the motel did not have cash, the suspect fled on foot. No shots were fired. No injuries were reported.
A Boone County K9 was on duty and attempted a track of the suspect but the track was unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a unknown race male, 5'10"-6'0", skinny build last seen wearing a ski mask, dark hooded jacket, gloves, dark jeans, and dark tennis shoes. The suspect is armed with a handgun.
