Two Separate Arrests Overnight

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

                             TWO SEPARATE ARRESTS OVERNIGHT

 

On 5/4/13 at 5:15 A. M, Officers were dispatched to One Hospital Drive in reference to a rape that occurred in th 2100 block of Lovejoy Lane. The investigation revealed Brian J. Adkison, 23, entered into a residence in the 2100 block of Lovejoy Lane without permission from the female victim, 23.  He went into victim's bedroom where she tried to get the suspect to leave the residence, however he refused to leave.  The suspect forcibly removed the victims pants and subjected her to deviate sexual intercourse. The suspect then forced sexual intercourse. The victim went by personal vehicle to the hospital. The victim and Adkison were known to each other. Adkison was arrested on 5/9/13 at 10:10 a.m. at the Clay County Courthouse in Liberty, Missouri for rape with to be set bond, deviate sexual assault with a bond of $4,500.00 and burglary in the first degree with a to be set bond.

On 5/9/13 at 5:27 P.M., Officers were trying to locate wanted subject Roy Gene Shields Jr, for outstanding warrants at 3402 I-70 Drive Southeast, Motel 6. Roy Shields Jr. was apprehended and arrested on the following charges:

1.)    Use or possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond of $500.00 for digital scales

2.)    Felony warrant out of Boone County for stealing with a bond of $4,500.00

3.)    Felony warrant out of Boone County for stealing with a bond of $4,500.00

4.)    Felony warrant out of Callaway County for burglary with a bond of $20,000.00

5.)    Misdemeanor warrant for driving under suspension with a bond of $500.00

6.)    Misdemeanor warrant out of Callaway County for driving while revoked with  a bond of $2,000.00

7.)    Burglary in the first degree with a to be set bond

8.)    Burglary in the second degree with a bond of $4,500.00

On the stealing case out of Boone County: On 2/5/13 at 1:00 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Look Out Court in reference to a theft from motor vehicle. The male victim reported Roy Gene Shields Jr. entered into his residence without permission, then after leaving the victim noticed his handgun stolen from his vehicle that was parked in his driveway. The victim contacted Shields and Shields admitted he took the handgun.  Shields returned the handgun to the victim.

On the burglary first and second case out of Boone County: On 4/17/13 at 5:32 P.M., officers were dispatched to a burglary at 3101 Wingate Court, Wingate Hotel. Roy Shields Jr. entered into a hotel room without permission from the victim, while the victim was in the room. Roy Shields Jr. then entered another hotel room and stole money.  During the arrest, Shields admitted his involvement in the thefts from three separate hotel rooms.
