Two Separate Armed Robberies

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

TWO SEPARATE ARMED ROBBERIES

On 3/18/13 at 10:33 P.M., officers were dispatched to 2200 W. Ash, Petromart in reference to an armed robbery. The investigation revealed a black male wearing a ski mask armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money from the cashier.  The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot heading southeast from the business. No one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.

Suspect Description:

Black male, approximately 5'9", thin to average build, last seen wearing a ski mask, dark colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The suspect was armed with a handgun.

On 3/18/13 at 11:03 P.M., officers were dispatched 2712 Paris Road, Midwest Petroleum, in reference to an armed robbery. The investigation revealed two males each armed with a handgun and wearing masks entered the store and demanded money from the cashier.  The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot heading southeast towards Mexico Gravel Road. No one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.

Suspect #1: Black male, around 17 to 19 years old last seen wearing a dark colored coat and jeans

Suspect #2: White male, in his early 20's last seen wearing a dark colored coat and jeans.

 At this time, there is no information that these robberies are related. In both robberies, there were customers inside the business.
